Kim Lobb
Kim is a passionate physiotherapist who believes in treating the whole body and whole person. Kim loves to learn and has completed a diversity of certifications and courses (see below) to help her clients meet their individual physiotherapy goals. In her 15th year of practice, Kim has experience with a wide variety of patients from complex persistent pain issues to high-level performance athletes. With her background in the thoracic ring approach, Kim has significant experience working with patients with chronic thoracic, rib cage pain. Kim is experienced working with patient with TMJ/jaw pain.
Kim’s main treatment approaches include a combination of whole body assessment, hands on manual techniques, IMS dry needling, visceral manipulation, specific exercise prescription and patient education.
Kim grew up in Victoria and was an active athlete in several sports in the community. After finishing high school Kim went to UVic to complete her kinesiology degree while competing for the varsity basketball team. She then moved to Edmonton to pursue her physiotherapy degree. Upon graduation Kim began her physiotherapy career working in Squamish and Whistler BC, before returning to Victoria 10 years ago. When not in the clinic Kim is active with her young family, enjoys volunteering in the community and travelling to new places.
